It is the third building on the same space since the Franciscans arrived in 1853.

The Italian immigrant who left a great architectural legacy in our province was the artist Augusto Ferrari .

This majestic religious space stands out for its façade with the portico in the form of a tympanum, decorated with multiple columns of different types of shaft. The same ones that are supporting each tower up to the main one.

Fray Salvador Solá is eternally buried in its atrium, who is venerated for the construction of the current temple.

The feeling of entering inside is immensely solemn, painted white and with its Celeste dome. As if we were in heaven.

Made up of a central nave with a continuous half-barreled roof, it is divided by columns and false columns, and semicircular arches of the side naves.

The main altar forms a central nave with an ambulatory.

The Tabernacle is a secondary altar finally carved in gold and guarded by warrior angels, which denote a special place.

The organ brought from Bergamo Italy in 1872, and donated by a friar of the order, was restored and declared a cultural heritage of the city in 2012.

All the vitro of the temple have images of the Franciscan friars in their designs, which is why this space forms another alternative where you can experience the religious resources of Río Cuarto.
