42nd edition of the Two Years Marathon 2019/20
Like every December 31, Rio Cuarto lived an event that goes beyond the merely sporting, and where we are visited from all over the country, and even from abroad.
This Marathon organized by the Banda Norte Athletic Association and that has that great particularity of running while the new year begins, seeing how the sky lights up with fireworks, brings together amateur athletes such as elite and nationally and internationally renowned athletes, coming to gather around 1400, from all provinces and from at least 6 Latin American countries.
And it's not just the runners, but also the people who take to the streets to shout words of encouragement and accompany the athletes on their journey.
In this 2019-2020, the Riocuartense athlete Rosa Godoy won the women's race, while the Rosario marathoner Julián Molina won the men's race. In second place, Miguel Guerra crossed the finish line, while Brian Burgos completed the podium. The Patagonian Joaquín Arbe finished in fourth place.
And like every year, our hotel welcomes many of these athletes, including Silvana Marchissio who was the winner in her category.
